I gave my life to Christ during high school while going through a phase of hopelessness. God has used my half-hearted scripture reading and prayer to soften my heart to himself and gave me new understanding that am loved regardless of my shortcomings and flaws, that he has knit me together in my mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and he has seen my unformed body (Psalm 139:16). Though I heard the gospel many times before, read scriptures- scripture became alive to me during this crisis; I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior that year. Over the years, God patiently is taking me on the journey of repentance of sins and restoration; faithfully leading me to stay on the course; gently making me cognizant of His holiness and my wretchedness.
