Being born in a Christian family we often tend to think that we would by default inherit the kingdom of God but it is not so. To bring me out of the this false concept God took me on a journey of disappointments and heartbreak and saved me from getting lost in traditional Christianity. Although it wasn't an easy or enjoyable process, but the way the Lord delivered me from the dangers within myself is something only He could have done. It started when my younger brother happened to share his testimony one day, that's when I realised my brother had experienced something profound which I did not yet. When I prayed about it, the Lord gave a heart to seek him, yearn for His presence and spoke to me through His word to look beyond the earthly disappointments. It is a journey of refinement as Philippians 1:6 says "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." I want my partner to be a disciple of Jesus, must take active participation in church, support me with my career incase I plan on starting my owne civil engineering consultancy in the future, must socialize well
